Cecilia McDowall’s carol, ‘There is No Rose’, has been nominated for The Ivors Academy Ivor Novello Award

On 18 October, 2022, The Ivors Academy announced that Cecilia McDowall’s carol, ‘There is No Rose’, has been nominated for The Ivors Academy Ivor Novello Award in the Choral category.

‘There is no rose’ was commissioned by Daniel Hyde and King’s College Chapel, Cambridge for performance by the superb Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, on Christmas Eve, 2021, broadcast on BBC Radio 3. #TheIvorsComposerAwards PRS for Music
