Dr Debra Shearer-Dirle, director
Concert to include Britten’s radiant carol sequence, with its mystical harp accompaniment and haunting harmonies and Vaughan Williams’s Fantasia brings a rustic charm, weaving beloved carol melodies into a lush tapestry of sound. The concert also includes other shorter works by composers old and new, including John Rutter, Philip Stopford, Cecilia McDowall, Judith Weir, Alan Bullard and Will Todd. There’s also a humorous version of The Twelve Days of Christmas arranged by Andrew Carter.
