Matthias Klosinski, Director
The focus of the programme is Josephine Lang (1815–1880), who worked in Tübingen, whose entire choroeuvre is heard in full in this concert – including the performance of her rediscovered “Cyrie” in a reconstruction by Harald Krebs and Ingo Bredenbach. In addition to other romantic pieces by Clara Schumann and Emilie Zumsteeg, this programme includes rarely heard works by Luise Adolpha Le Beau and Ethel Smyth, as well as contemporary soundscapes by Cecilia McDowall, Marianne Stoll, Iris Szeghy and Galina Grigorjeva.
