Petros Singers
Richard Bannan, conductor
This Christmas, Petros singers are delighted to reunite with LYC West – wonderful collaborators from their 40-anniversary concert – for a festive performance of Britten’s evergreen cantata, Saint Nicholas.
Alongside this seasonal masterpiece, enjoy Bob Chilcott’s highly entertaining and much-loved Twelve Days of Christmas, as well as festive favourites by John Rutter, whose name is synonymous with Christmas choral music. They’re also proud to showcase music by acclaimed local composer, Cecilia McDowall, “one of the leading choral and vocal composers of her generation”. Musical Opinion
