Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols. Alongside this, familiar carols are lovingly arranged in Vaughan Williams’ joyful Fantasia on Christmas Carols and Cecilia McDowall’s atmospheric A Winter’s Night, with pieces by Howells and York-based composer Richard Allain. Blending beauty, energy and reflection, this concert offers a rich tapestry of choral music to mark the festive season.
